Weather-Friendly Cancellation Policy (May–September)

We hope you and your family stayed safe during the recent typhoon in Okinawa.

One of the unique things about Okinawa is the beautiful blue sky that often appears after a typhoon has passed. The air feels refreshed, the greenery looks even more vibrant, and the scenery can be breathtaking.

Here in Ogido, Nakagusuku Village, where OKINAWA KIMONO家 is located, typhoons also leave behind fallen leaves and branches that need a bit of attention.

What always impresses us is how much care the local community takes in maintaining the village. Shortly after a storm, neighbors can often be seen sweeping roads, tending gardens, and caring for the stone walls and flowers that make this area so special.

Thanks to their efforts, many of our favorite photo locations remain beautiful throughout the season.

At the same time, we understand that Okinawa's weather can be unpredictable, especially between May and September. We know that making plans during this time of year can sometimes feel uncertain.

To help our guests book with greater peace of mind, we offer a special Weather-Friendly Cancellation Policy during this season.

Cancellation Policy (May–September)

• Changes or cancellations made by 5:00 PM (JST) on the day before your reservation: Free of charge

• Changes or cancellations made after 5:00 PM (JST) on the day before your reservation, or on the reservation day: 100% cancellation fee

We hope this allows you to plan your Okinawa experience with a little more flexible.

As the season continues, tropical flowers throughout Nakagusuku Village are coming into full bloom, adding even more color to the quiet streets and historic scenery.
