From historic sites within walking distance to scenic “Instagram-worthy” locations just a short drive away, we carefully selected photo spots where your Ryukyu costume looks even more beautiful.
Nakagusuku Village offers a rare mix of traditional Okinawan landscapes, quiet village roads, and cultural heritage sites—perfect for relaxed photo sessions without the crowds of major tourist areas.
At OKINAWA KIMONO House, we also provide photo albums with real examples, that you can see “This is the kind of photo you can take here.” This helps groups, families, and tour planners easily imagine the experience before heading out. If you have base access, you may also visit Kadena Air Base, Camp Foster, Camp Courtney, and other U.S. military bases in Okinawa while wearing traditional Ryukyu costume (Ryuso). Whether you’re traveling with classmates, family, or friends, why not capture one unforgettable photo to remember your time in Okinawa?

A Family Ryuso Experience — A Day to Remember
The whole family joined us for a Ryuso experience.
Although they were a little nervous at first, their smiles gradually became more natural as the dressing process went on.
Surrounded by Okinawa’s charming scenery, many beautiful family photos were captured.

“13th Birthday Celebration × Photo Plan”
They used our photo plan to commemorate their daughter’s 13th birthday celebration.
Wanting to beautifully capture this special milestone through professional photography, they consulted with us beforehand and then visited our studio.
Dressed in vibrant Ryuso (traditional Okinawan attire), her appearance surely became an irreplaceable memory for the whole family.

"Memories of ‘Kuini Sera’ Realized in Okinawa"
She came to our shop wishing to have a special commemorative photo shoot for the traditional Mexican 15th birthday celebration, “Quinceañera,” here in Okinawa.
Dressed in Ryuso (traditional Okinawan attire), she looked stunningly elegant and radiated a graceful, dignified presence.

“Together with your daughter, in a special attire”
They came from within Okinawa Prefecture for their first Ryuso (traditional Okinawan attire) experience with their daughter.
They booked the plan saying, “There aren’t many opportunities to wear it even locally.”
After dressing, the mother and daughter enjoyed a leisurely walk around the village.
They also visited the Nakamura Residence, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, and fully enjoyed the 3-hour plan.
