We’ve gathered answers to the most common questions about our Okinawan kimono (Ryuso) experience and rental services.

Whether you are newly stationed in Okinawa, living near Kadena, Camp Foster, or Futenma, visiting from overseas, or planning a family trip, we want you to feel confident and fully prepared before your booking.

How much does it cost for a family of four?

1-Hour Plan

22,000 yen total
(2 adults × 6,600 yen / 2 children × 4,400 yen)

3-Hour Plan

28,600 yen total
(2 adults × 8,800 yen / 2 children × 5,500 yen)

3-Hour Plan + 1-Hour Professional Photographer

53,600 yen total
(2 adults × 8,800 yen / 2 children × 5,500 yen / photographer approx. 25,000 yen per hour)

Can we rent costumes for movies or magazine shoots?

Yes. We support film productions, magazine shoots, influencer projects, and multi-day rentals. Availability depends on existing bookings, so please contact us as early as possible.

Can school groups participate?

Yes. We welcome school trips and group bookings. As costume quantities and sizes are limited, please contact us with your group size and approximate measurements.

What is the minimum booking fee?

There is a minimum booking fee of 16,500 yen (tax included) per reservation slot.

For example:

• Two children for 1 hour:
4,400 yen × 2 = 8,800 yen
→ The minimum fee applies, so the total will be 16,500 yen.

• One adult + two children for 1 hour:
6,600 yen + (4,400 yen × 2) = 15,400 yen
→ The minimum fee applies, so the total will be 16,500 yen.

Can I book if my preferred date is within one week?

Please contact us to check availability. We will confirm based on current reservations.

Can I rent for graduation ceremonies or special events?

Yes. Dressing and hair styling services are available. Pricing depends on rental duration and preparation time, so please contact us for details.

Can I rent the studio for photography?

Yes. Our private traditional studio is located in Nakagusuku Village in Central Okinawa, in an area that still preserves Okinawan charm and atmosphere. Studio rental with or without costumes is available. Please contact us for details.

Do you have larger sizes for foreigners?

Yes. Ryuso (Okinawan kimono) is different from mainland Japanese kimono. It is less restrictive and more comfortable, especially during Okinawa’s summer weather. We offer a range of sizes, including larger options and various sandal sizes. Please confirm sizing when contacting us.

Do you have children’s sizes?

Yes. Children’s sizes are available starting from approximately 60 cm in height. (about 24 inches / 0–3 months size)

Can I extend the rental time?

Yes. If you wish to use the costumes longer than 3 hours, please contact us in advance to arrange an extension.
