RENTAL PROCESS
01. Reservations
Please select your preferred plan and enter the number of people on the reservation form, then choose your desired date.
If you would like a hair arrangement, you can select it from the optional add-ons section.
Advance payment by credit card is required to confirm your booking.
※For same-day reservations, please contact us by phone.
02. Visiting OKINAWA KIMONOKE
Please visit us on the date of your reservation.
If you have any trouble finding the location, feel free to give us a call.
03. Check-in
We will confirm the name of the person making the reservation at the check-in.
Please present identification (passport, driver's license, student ID, etc.) to verify your identity.
Please use the lockers inside the store to store your luggage.
04.Kimono Dressing (Approx. 15 minutes per person)
The required time may vary depending on the number of participants and selected options.
Rental time will begin after the dressing is complete.
05. Departure
Rental time is counted from your departure time.
You are welcome to travel by car during your rental period!
The area around OKINAWA KIMONO-KE in Kitanakagusuku Village is home to many historical sites, including the famous Nakagusuku Castle Ruins, where you can feel the rich history of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
Our staff can also recommend scenic walking routes and sightseeing spots—please feel free to ask us anytime.
Enjoy a relaxing stroll until your return time.
06. Return
Please return the costume by the designated time.
If you return it late, a late fee will be charged.

For Those Who Wish to Have Photos Taken by a Professional Photographer
At OKINAWA KIMONOKE, we work with professional photographers.
If you would like to capture special memories or commemorate an occasion, please write “Photographer requested” in the remarks section when making your reservation, or let us know in advance via the inquiry form.
Photography Fees (approx.):

1 hour: ¥25,000 (tax excluded)

2 hours: ¥35,000 (tax excluded)

3 hours: ¥43,000 (tax excluded)

These fees are separate from the Ryuso rental experience.

Photographer availability must be confirmed in advance.

We may not be able to accommodate every request, so we appreciate your understanding.

PHOTO PLAN
Photo Plan
When using our professional photographer for a photoshoot at the Nakamurake Residence,
the following location fee applies per photographer.
Admission: ¥500
Location fee: ¥1,000
Total: ¥1,500 / per photographer
The same fee applies if you bring your own professional photographer.
The following are considered professional photography and require a location fee:
• Professional photographer
• Paid photography
• Portfolio, artwork, or professional SNS content
Personal photography (family, friends, or hobby use) is free of charge.
Final decisions regarding photography permission follow the rules of the Nakamurake Residence.
※ The 3-hour plan includes admission tickets for customers.
(Professional photography requires an additional location fee.)

Rental Guidelines
Before Your Rental:

Please wear or bring an inner layer (tank top or camisole).

Late Returns:

If you return the outfit late, late fees will apply:

Within 1 hour: ¥1,100 per outfit (tax included)

Over 1 hour: ¥11,000 per outfit (tax included)

Returns after business hours are not accepted.

For next-day returns, an overnight fee of ¥110,000 per outfit (tax included) will apply.

If you expect to be late, please contact us in advance.
Day-of Reservations:

If you cannot arrive at your scheduled reservation time, your rental period may be shortened. No refunds for time differences.

If we cannot reach you 15 minutes after your scheduled time, your reservation will be automatically canceled and a cancellation fee will apply.

Our space is private, so early arrivals may need to wait in your car or nearby until your reservation time. Please arrive on time.
Other Notes:

Reservations may be canceled due to severe weather. Notification will be sent by 4:00 PM the day before via email or phone.

Pregnant guests are advised not to use our service.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen valuables.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservation Changes
We do not accept changes to existing reservations.
If you need to make changes, please cancel your current reservation and make a new one.
Cancellation Policy

Free of Charge:
If we receive notice of cancellation or change by 5:00 PM on the day before your reservation. -
Cancellation Fee: 50% of the rental fee
If we receive notice after 5:00 PM on the day before until the scheduled time on the day of reservation. -
Cancellation Fee: 100% of the rental fee
If you do not contact us and fail to show up by the scheduled reservation time.
OKINAWA KIMONOKE
Terms of Use for Ryukyu Kimono Rental
Thank you for using our Ryukyu costume rental service. Please read the following terms and conditions before using the service.
1. Handling of costumes Customers are obligated to take good care of the Ryukyu costumes provided by our store. Please be especially careful not to stain or damage the costumes while eating, drinking, or engaging in outdoor activities.
2. Return of costumes Please return the rented Ryukyu costumes by the specified date and time. If you miss the return time, a late fee will be charged. ・For delays of up to one hour, a late fee of ¥1,100 (tax included) will be charged per costume. ・For delays of more than one hour, a late fee of ¥11,000 (tax included) will be charged per costume. Please note that you cannot return the costumes after business hours. If you return the costumes the next day, an additional fee of ¥110,000 (tax included) will be charged per costume. *If you are going to be late in returning the costumes, please be sure to contact us in advance. Please be aware of this.
3. About Damage and Staining of Costumes
If the costume is damaged or stained during rental, the user will be responsible for the repair costs, cleaning costs, or in some cases the cost of purchasing a replacement item.
4. About Photography
The area around our shop is a residential area, so please be especially considerate of your surroundings when taking photos.
-No entry into private homes: Do not enter private property or private home premises without permission.
-Keep noise levels down: Please be careful not to talk loudly so as not to disturb the lives of neighboring residents.
-Respect privacy: Please avoid capturing other people in the photo or violating their privacy.
-Manners in public places: When taking photos in parks or roads, please be careful not to disturb other users or passersby.
Please take photos with good manners so that both customers and local residents can have a pleasant time.
5. About Accidents and Damages
Our shop is not responsible for any accidents or damages that may occur while using the service.
Please use this service at your own risk.
6. Agreement
I have read the above terms of use and agree to them when using the Ryusou rental experience service.
I also understand and agree that I will not hold the company responsible for any accidents or damages that occur during the use of the service.
